It’s been a pretty busy few weeks for #KittenCamp recently! We’ve been trekking up and down the country with events in Manchester and London and last night we were back in Bristol for another awesome evening of viral mayhem. It’s been a while since we’ve been in town, but it was great to see the room packed out with so many familiar faces and lots of #KittenCamp neewbies too.
We kicked off the evening in classic #KittenCamp style, with our Meme Master (aka Chris Quigley) squaring up against VAN’s very own Matt Smith, in a epic, round by round battle of LOLz. Followed by the lovely Clare Reddington, Director of iShed, chatting about Playable Cities and the Hello Lamp Post project.
If you work in the creative industry and have an innovative new idea that will challenge the screen-based clichés of a smart city, then check out the Playable City Award to find out how you could win the funding to bring your ideas to life. Plus, if you’re based in Bristol, why not pop down to the Watershed for Pervasive Media Studio’s free lunch-time talks and listen to speakers from around the UK chatting about awesome digital projects.
For those of you who missed the action last night, check out a quick run down of some of our favourite videos below and don’t forget to follow us on Facebook and Twitter to keep up to date with the latest event news and viral gossip!
Plus, #KittenCamp will be in the US next month for a special event for SXSW, so if you’re heading out to Austin for the festival please do look us up!
